Bringing the rotating camera back, Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 with a rotating triple camera, made for both primary shooting and selfies.

The Galaxy A80 has a 48-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide (123-degree) 8-megapixel front camera and a 3D depth sensor. Expect cool bokeh effects for selfies and more traditional shots.

As per Samsung, the wide-angle lens has the same viewing angle as the human eye; Also, the wide-angle functions can now work for both landscapes and crowded selfies.

I was able to test the Galaxy A80 during the opening of the new Samsung showroom in Jnah - Lebanon and got a live demo unit from Swipe Lebanon to be able to do a hands-on session on it. You can find below a video summarizing my experience with this new smartphone:

So to sum up, the Galaxy A80 rotating camera can be the solution of getting the best photos for landscapes photos and selfies too.

Another new feature is the Live Focus (bokeh) for videos. We all know how much the Live Focus photos are different and special; the Live Focus video is even more impressing having a focus on a face and a blurred space in the background.

I just wished the front camera had a higher megapixel count as the ultra-wide shots with the 8-megapixel camera will look less detailed than the 48-megapixel main camera pictures, but it's fine, the 123-degrees selfies are still nice and original.
